On May 16, the 15th CIBF kicked off in Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. Since the release of full-tab large cylindrical battery in early 2021, BAK Battery has continued to lead in the R&D of large cylindrical battery technology and market promotion, and has once again attracted the attention of many exhibitors at this CIBF. With comprehensive performance, outstanding safety and adaptability to different chemical systems, large cylindrical batteries have become the new favorite of the industry and are regarded as the breakthrough point of the second curve of electric vehicle development. As one of the pioneers in the field of large cylindrical power battery in China, BAK Battery adopts the two-line strategy, and has two core large cylindrical battery product series, focusing on high-performance high-nickel + high-ICE silicon products and LFP + silicon and sodium ion battery products with high cost performance. The energy density of the first generation of representative products will be above 280Wh/kg, and 4C fast charging is also supported. BAK’s small power battery - Upgrading the wisdom boundary cell

With the development trend of miniaturization and convenience of intelligent terminals, the penetration rate of cordless intelligent terminals is getting higher and higher. Based on the application characteristics of BAK Battery in small power scenarios and its higher requirements for batteries, BAK Battery continuously promotes the optimization and adjustment of small power cells in four aspects: material selection, cell design, safety guarantee and customer application, and has six advantages: high energy density, long cycle life, high rate, fast charging, strong temperature adaptability and high safety. At present, small power cylindrical batteries cover two series: 18650 and 21700, with capacity increased from 2.5Ah of 18650 to 5.3Ah of 21700 and the volumetric specific energy density increased from 544Wh/L to 787Wh/L, being recognized by well-known customers such as Philips, Meituan, Hellobike, Midea and Xiaomi. It is particularly noteworthy that the new full-tab 2170 cell developed by BAK Battery was launched, refreshing the performance ceiling of BAK’s small power cylindrical battery.

It is worth mentioning that two new polymer cells, BAK G994550PN and LP5565134, which were unveiled at this CIBF, respectively improved the endurance of electronic equipment in extreme temperature environment, and passed extreme safety tests such as heavy object impact and acupuncture, with outstanding performance.

BAK’s energy storage battery - Helping efficient and clean energy

Many domestic governments have accelerated the development of energy storage industry and ushered in a new market climax.
